On January 11, the 1st World Ice Dragon Boat Championships organized by the International Ice Dragon Boat Federation (IIDBF) was held at Longze Lake in Duolun County.

This championships invited over 300 athletes from 27 teams across 23 countries and regions, including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy,
Finland, Hungary, Russia, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Ghana, Iran, Bangladesh, Armenia, Laos, Belarus, Nigeria, Canada, the Netherlands,
as well as Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, China. Representing China were two teams: Harbin Tengxiang Dragon Boat Team and Zhengzhou University Dragon Boat Team.

The competition featured six events: Mixed 12-Person Dragon Boat 100m and 200m Sprint, Mixed 4-Person Steered (5-Person) Dragon Boat 100m and 200m Sprint,
and Mixed 4-Person Unsteered (4-Person) Dragon Boat 100m and 200m Sprint.

After exciting and fierce competitions, the 1st World Ice Dragon Boat Championships concluded and determined the rankings at Longze Lake, Duolunnuoer Town,
Duolun County on the afternoon of January 12.

• 4-Person 100m Sprint: Russia Team, Chinese Taipei Team 2, South Korea Team
• 4-Person 200m Sprint: Russia Team, Hungary Team, Chinese Taipei Team 2
• 5-Person 100m Sprint: China Team 1, Hungary Team, Germany Team 2
• 5-Person 200m Sprint: China Team 1, Hungary Team, Germany Team 2
• 12-Person 100m Sprint: Hungary Team, Russia Team, Philippines Team
• 12-Person 200m Sprint: Russia Team, Hungary Team, Philippines Team
Based on traditional dragon boat races, ice dragon boat racing has innovated and broken the seasonal and water area restrictions of traditional dragon boat competitions.
Taking this opportunity, Duolun County will vigorously develop the winter tourism industry, build high-quality sports events, and effectively enhance the charm of winter tourism.
