

On February 2 (the Little New Year), the annual ice dragon boat grand finale - "Blue Wolf Secret Realm, Tianbian Grassland Ulagai" 2023-2024
Ice Dragon Boat Super League Finals & Ulagai Administrative Region Ice Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament - grandly kicked off at Nanhu Park,
Bayanhushuo Town, Ulagai, Inner Mongolia. Distinguished guests and leaders attended the opening ceremony, including Luo Zhongyi, President
of the International Ice Dragon Boat Federation; Huo Jianjun, Secretary-General of China Tourist Attractions Association; Qiao Jianqiang, Secretary
of the Party Working Committee of Ulagai Administrative Region; Chen Lei, Director of the Cooperation and Development Department of China
Tourist Attractions Association; Xing Haipeng, Deputy Director of Xilin Gol League Culture, Sports, Tourism and Radio and Television Bureau; Wang
Dongsheng, Former Deputy Director of Harbin Sports Bureau; Zhang Hongtao, Director of Jilin Provincial Sports Bureau Swimming and Water
Sports Management Center; and Tang Yudong from the Mass Sports Department of Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau.
A spectacular opening ceremony performance and the "dragon eye-dotting" ritual marked the start of the tournament.

The tournament was hosted by the Sports Federation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, undertaken by Xilin Gol League Culture,
Sports, Tourism and Radio and Television Bureau, and Ulagai Administrative Region Management Committee, guided by the International
Ice Dragon Boat Federation, and exclusively operated and promoted by Dalian Qianlong Water Sports Development Co., Ltd.
Twenty-two teams from provinces and cities participated in the open group competition, including Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Tianjin,
Guangdong, Guangxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Henan, and three countries (Panama, South Africa, and Nigeria). Meanwhile, 16 teams from
the Xilin Gol League competed in the local group. Nearly 600 participants competed in four events: 12-person ice dragon boat 100m
and 200m straight races, and 5-person ice dragon boat 100m and 200m straight races, vying for the 2023-2024 Ice Dragon Boat Super
League Annual Championship.

At the referee's order, the dragon boats dashed off the starting line like arrows, engaging in a fierce competition. They moved
nimbly on the ice, chasing each other closely. The cheers of the audience resounded through the sky with overwhelming enth-
usiasm. The ice poles striking the ice surface echoed like magnificent battle anthems, filling the venue with a tense and exciting
atmosphere. Athletes went all out in pursuit of victory. The Ice Dragon Boat Super League Finals, which is both thrilling and
entertaining, offered the audience a unique sports feast.







Since December 2023, the 2023-2024 Ice Dragon Boat Super League has held 6 division competitions and one final in Xilinhot (Inner
Mongolia), Qitaihe (Heilongjiang), Jingpo Lake (Heilongjiang), Jinzhou (Liaoning), Dalian (Liaoning), Jingyu (Jilin), and Ulagai (Inner
Mongolia). With wide coverage and significant influence, the tournament spans "Three Provinces and One Autonomous Region"
(Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning provinces, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region). The athletes who participated came from across
China and even foreign countries, making it the highest-level ice dragon boat tournament in China.
The brilliant presentation of these ice dragon boat events demonstrates the sport's characteristics of high participation, wide popularity,
significant influence, and strong driving force, attracting more people to pay attention to and love ice dragon boat racing. While inheriting
traditional Chinese culture and promoting the dragon boat spirit, it further enhances cultural exchange and cooperation among various
regions, drives the integrated development of local culture, commerce, tourism, and sports, provides a platform and opportunities for
the public to participate in ice and snow fitness activities, and contributes to the inheritance and development of traditional culture.
