The competition attracted 20 teams and nearly 400 athletes from all over the country, covering provinces such as Heilongjiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hainan, Yunnan, Jilin, Liaoning, Henan, Inner Mongolia, and Shandong. Athletes gathered in Harbin to participate in the 12-person ice dragon boat, 5-person ice dragon boat, 100m and 200m straight races, and the 300m drift and return race, jointly demonstrating the speed and passion of ice dragon boat sports.

At the referee's order, dragon boats rushed out of the starting line like arrows off the string, competing fiercely on the 30-
centimeter-thick ice. During the competition, the neat and uniform shouts of the athletes resounded through the sky; hundreds
of paddles moved in unison, splashing ice shards everywhere. The collision between the ice paddles and the ice surface created
a battle song, driving the dragon boats to gallop on the ice.
