International Ice Dragon Boat Federation
International Ice Dragon Boat Federation Appears at the Swiss Summit of the World Sports Congress

On April 19, 2016, the International Ice Dragon Boat Federation (IIDBF) was invited to attend the General Assembly of the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) — 2016 Switzerland Summit.

The ice dragon boat sport was recognized by many major ice and snow sports countries at this GAISF Summit (SportAccord).

Mr. Luo Zhongyi held cordial meetings with Ms. Han Zirong, Secretary-General of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, and Mr. Wu Jingmi, Executive Secretary-General of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games Bid Committee, respectively. Both parties had in-depth discussions on the development and broad prospects of ice dragon boat sport.

During the summit, IIDBF exhibited a video collection of wonderful ice dragon boat series events and sports equipment in the exhibition hall, attracting 

strong attention from the international sports community.

The exhibition hall was crowded with people. Mr. Luo Zhongyi had in-depth exchanges with leaders of various international organizations and institutions on 

the development and prospects of ice dragon boat sport and the federation itself, which received unanimous recognition and enthusiastic responses.


The emergence and development of ice dragon boat sport have provided a new field and thinking for ice and snow sports, as well as new sports experiences and 

fun for numerous ice and snow sports enthusiasts. The development and progress of IIDBF will also inject a strong new driving force into the future development 

of ice and snow sports!
