On January 16, 2017, the International Ice Dragon Boat Series & the 1st 2017 Duolun Baiyin Tribe Cup Ice Dragon Boat Race, hosted by the International Ice Dragon
Boat Federation (IIDBF) and the People’s Government of Duolun County, kicked off with a starting gun in Duolun, Inner Mongolia. A total of over 600 participants from
53 teams representing various enterprises and public institutions took part in the competition.

After the race, the President of IIDBF and international officials from the dragon boat industry awarded prizes to the winning teams and took group photos as souvenirs.





The participating ice dragon boat teams in this competition were organized by local ice dragon boat clubs and represented various enterprises and public institutions. In response to the national call for 300 million people to participate in ice and snow sports, ice dragon boat has been thriving locally, demonstrating its prominent advantages as a winter team-building activity for enterprises and public institutions.
