On April 4, 2017, the SportAccord (World Sports Confederation) summit was held in Denmark.

The current SportAccord event brings together representatives from the Association of Summer Olympic International Sports Federations (ASOIF), 

the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF), the Association of International Sports Federations (ARISF), the Alliance

of Independent Recognized Sports Members (AIMS), and other related organizations.

The vibrant atmosphere of the conference

The International Ice Dragon Boat Federation (IIDBF) is participating in this event

Ms. Sue Holloway, Vice President of IIDBF, provided a detailed introduction to the Ice Dragon Boat Project

Mr. Patrick Baumann, the President of SportAccord (pictured below), is optimistic about the

 development of the ice dragon boat sport

Viktor (right), a member of the Russian Olympic Committee and Honorary Vice President of ROC, 

is very interested in the ice dragon boat project

Leaders from the Organizing Committee for the 2022 Winter Olympics (Beijing) visited the ice dragon boat exhibition, emphasizing 

the importance of enhancing exchanges and cooperation, as well as cultural dissemination, in the field of winter sports. Mr. Luo Zhongyi, 

President of the International Ice Dragon Boat Federation, accompanied the tour and provided information about the future development 

plans for ice dragon boat activities.

The delegation led by Michael Thomas, President of the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF), 

has shown particular interest in the development of the ice dragon boat project.

The Finnish Cardiff Bay Sports Operations Agency is interested in the ice dragon boat project and is discussing a partnership for the event.
