At 9 a.m., at the Jingpo Lake Dragon Boat Race site, all participating teams were dressed in uniform competition clothes, fully prepared and in high spirits. Accompanied by warm applause and cheers, the competition officially started. At the referee's order, each dragon boat rushed out of the starting line like an arrow off the string. Amid the passionate and melodious drumbeats, a hundred ice picks moved in unison, splashing ice shards everywhere as the dragon boats raced forward. The participating teams strived to paddle, and the on-site audience cheered them on, creating a warm and exciting scene.

The China Jingpo Lake Ice Dragon Boat Challenge & 2023-2024 Ice Dragon Boat Super League (Jingpo Lake Stop) has received support and guidance from the Social Sports Guidance Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the International Ice Dragon Boat Federation. It is hosted by the Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Bureau and Mudanjiang Municipal People's Government, undertaken by the Heilongjiang Jingpo Lake Administrative Committee and Mudanjiang Municipal Sports Bureau, and promoted and operated by Dalian Qianlong Water Sports Development Co., Ltd.

The remaining 4 stops of the 2023-2024 Ice Dragon Boat Super League will be held in Jinzhou (Liaoning), Ulagai (Inner Mongolia), Jingyu (Jilin) and Dalian (Liaoning). We believe that the wonderful presentation of these events will attract more people to pay attention to and love ice dragon boat sports, further promote the integrated development of cultural, sports and tourism in various regions, provide platforms and opportunities for the public to participate in ice and snow fitness activities, and contribute to the inheritance and development of traditional culture.
